Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA, or CCC-eligible and able to obtain CCC. (Client requires CCC or CCC-eligible as indicated in order notes.)
• Active state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in North Carolina is required to start the assignment.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Current, valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and personal auto insurance to support travel for home health visits.
• Experience providing speech-language pathology services in home health or home care settings preferred.
• Graduate of a masters level SLP program that meets ASHA certification requirements.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Home Health.
• Position Type: Travel, temporary contractor assignment.
• Assignment Dates: May through July (assignment length provided by client).
• Candidate may be required to coordinate care with referring physicians and other clinical staff.
• May supervise home health aides in procedures directly related to the speech-language therapy Plan of Care as appropriate.
