Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active New York state SLP license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience treating dysphagia and complex communication disorders in geriatric populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records used in post-acute care.
  • Prior travel SLP experience preferred.
