Job Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Fort Pierce, FL. We are seeking a dedicated clinician to provide acute-care evaluations and treatments that help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain daily skills. This role is based in a hospital setting with a multidisciplinary team and opportunities to work with medically complex patients across adult and pediatric populations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Florida Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or ARC accepted).
- Acute care experience preferred; must be able to perform evaluations and treatments in an acute hospital setting.
- Experience using portable acute-care equipment.
- Familiarity with Meditech and Redoc documentation systems preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload consistent with department expectations (approximately 8 evaluations over an 8-hour period).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and functioning independently when required.
- Experience working in facilities with trauma, stroke center, NICU/PICU, or inpatient rehabilitation services is a plus.

- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Shift Days: Days.
- No on-call requirement.
- Documentation systems used: Meditech and Redoc.
