Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Fort Pierce, FL. We are seeking a dedicated clinician to provide acute-care evaluations and treatments that help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain daily skills. This role is based in a hospital setting with a multidisciplinary team and opportunities to work with medically complex patients across adult and pediatric populations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Florida Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Acute care experience preferred; must be able to perform evaluations and treatments in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience using portable acute-care equipment.
• Familiarity with Meditech and Redoc documentation systems preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload consistent with department expectations (approximately 8 evaluations over an 8-hour period).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and functioning independently when required.
• Experience working in facilities with trauma, stroke center, NICU/PICU, or inpatient rehabilitation services is a plus.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Shift Days: Days.
• No on-call requirement.
• Documentation systems used: Meditech and Redoc.
