Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active California PT license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Clinical experience treating orthopedic conditions preferred.
  • Experience providing one-on-one patient care in an outpatient setting preferred.
  • Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan, from adolescents through geriatrics.
  • Ability to perform follow-up visits and progress reporting; initial evaluations are typically performed by a designated staff PT.
  • Must be hands-on and able to manage a daily patient load averaging approximately 16 patients.
  • Willingness to float or split time to assist coverage at another nearby clinic when needed is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior outpatient clinic experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience with common orthopedic interventions and documentation workflows.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with designated evaluators and clinic staff.

Assignment Details

  • Mostly orthopedic caseload; no pelvic or wheelchair-bound patient population.
  • One-on-one patient care model; follow-ups and progress reports required.
  • Average patient volume approximately 16 patients per day.
  • Possible split to help cover a clinic in the Los Angeles area when needed.
