Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Peoria, AZ at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role emphasizes orthopedic outpatient care, patient education, safe handling practices, and professional development aligned with organizational quality and safety priorities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Arizona Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred, including evaluation, development of treatment plans, goal writing, and discharge planning.
  • Experience with documentation, letters of medical necessity, functional quality indicator assessment, and charge entry in compliance with regulatory and clinic policies.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate discipline-specific therapy services and participate in student clinical education.
  • Adherence to state practice act, maintenance of professional licensure, and completion of required continuing education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an outpatient clinic with a primary orthopedic caseload.
  • Experience participating in performance improvement initiatives and clinical competency programs.
