Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Bettendorf, IA working in an outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new community. This position supports an interdisciplinary team and may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses. Orientation occurs every Monday.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Iowa state license or compact license valid to start the assignment.
  • BLS (AHA) certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • At least one completed travel contract required.
  • Epic EMR experience required.
  • Not an employee of the facility within the last 12 months.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Profile must include work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year, license verification, copy of required certifications, and one supervisory reference at time of submission.
  • Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outpatient settings preferred.
  • Previous experience in trauma center environments preferred.

Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 0800 - 1630.
  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week (5x8).
  • EMR: EPIC.
  • Traveler may be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
  • Orientation schedule: Every Monday.
  • Summer holiday requirement: may be required to work 12 of Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.

Impacting Patient Care

The traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of care to patients within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include direct patient care, documentation in EPIC, and collaboration with clinical staff to support patient outcomes.
