Back Recreational Therapist North Mississippi Health Services Pontotoc, MS 38863, USA May 19, 2026 Job Description Clinical: -Evaluates and establishes treatment plan for all patients referred to Recreational Therapy -Performs leisure counseling and skill building -Remain competent in: Evaluation/Assessment skills; Planning and implementation of group and individual activities; Leisure adaptive equipment -Attends and provides continuing education inservices -Works variable hours and shares responsibility for weekend coverage of recreation/activity programs. Budget: -Remains within monthly budget when planning recreational activities Other: -Must be competent in use of computer for documentation purposes Job Knowledge: -Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation required -Certified as Therapeutic Recreation Specialist required -CPR certification required -Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to work with/treat adult and geriatric patients.
