Registered Respiratory Therapist in Newark, OH

A contract opportunity is open for a skilled professional with expertise as a Respiratory Therapist. In this role, you'll utilize your clinical knowledge and caring nature to provide critical respiratory care to patients, working alongside a collaborative healthcare team.

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour night shifts

Qualifications:

• Credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Active and valid Respiratory Therapy license
• Familiarity with current respiratory care procedures and best practices
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse care team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by providers
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including airway management and ventilator support
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and equipment use
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all interventions
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health team members to ensure the highest level of patient care
