Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly valued. Effective communicator and collaborator with educators, families, and related service providers. Key Responsibilities: Assessing and supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing to identify needs and develop individualized plans. Collaborating with educational teams to ensure effective integration of assistive technology and instructional modifications. Providing direct instruction, consultation, or therapy as appropriate to support communication and learning goals. Training and guiding school staff to improve understanding and implementation of accommodations. Engaging families to support student progress and create a seamless support system.
