Competitive Per Diem Pay: $55-$65/hour DOE Flexible Scheduling Supportive Interdisciplinary Team Rewarding Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Environment Opportunity to Positively Impact Residents and Families Collaborative Workplace Focused on Compassionate Care What You'll Do As a Speech Language Pathologist at The Pines at Placerville, you will: Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Work closely with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams Educate residents and caregivers on aspiration prevention, communication strategies, and maintenance programs Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and utilization reviews Maintain accurate and compliant documentation Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) and students as applicable Assist with staff education and restorative nursing training Help residents maximize independence, safety, and quality of life Qualifications Current California Speech Language Pathologist License New grads encouraged to apply Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred CPR Certification if required by licensure Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred Familiarity with Net Health and Point Click Care is a plus Join a Team That Cares At The Pines at Placerville, we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people.
