Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain
• State licensure (or ability to become licensed) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Recent experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented atmosphere for students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct and consultative SLP services for students with communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student academic and social success
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt therapy strategies and interventions to meet both individual and group needs
• Provide resources, support, and education to caregivers and colleagues regarding speech-language development
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based therapy services
