Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Florida COTA license
- Previous school-based experience preferred, though not required
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple sites within Hendry County; locations will be assigned before the school year begins
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) and in collaboration with the supervising occupational therapist
- Support students functional skills within classroom and school routines
- Document and report on therapy sessions, student progress, and outcomes
- Adapt and modify techniques to accommodate various learning and physical needs
- Communicate effectively with educational staff and families about students goals and progress
- Travel among assigned schools and maintain organized scheduling to meet all student needs across the district
