Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Florida COTA license
• Previous school-based experience preferred, though not required
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple sites within Hendry County; locations will be assigned before the school year begins
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) and in collaboration with the supervising occupational therapist
• Support students functional skills within classroom and school routines
• Document and report on therapy sessions, student progress, and outcomes
• Adapt and modify techniques to accommodate various learning and physical needs
• Communicate effectively with educational staff and families about students goals and progress
• Travel among assigned schools and maintain organized scheduling to meet all student needs across the district
