Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location in Epping, NH. This role supports home health patients across the local coverage territory and requires strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and the ability to work independently in patient homes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Minimum experience providing occupational therapy in home health or community-based settings preferred.
- Experience with HCHB EMR is preferred.
- Must be able to travel within the assigned coverage area and drive between patient visits. Mileage reimbursement provided between first and last patient visits.
- Must meet any client-specific professional certification requirements outlined in the LHC Group job description.
Preferred Qualifications
- Home care experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with productivity expectations typical to home health settings.
- Comfort working independently and managing a varied caseload in patient homes.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:0016:00 (client lists 8:004:30 PM in order notes).
- Weekly hour guideline: 3240 hours.
- Productivity expectation referenced: productivity points aligned with 30/40 hours.
- On-call or weekend requirement: no.
- Coverage area: Epping care center territory; candidate must be able to travel within this territory.
