We are seeking a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessments and treatment in a skilled nursing facility in Jasper, AL. The clinician will support residents across disciplines, deliver individualized care plans, and collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams. Applicants must hold the required education and credentials and be prepared to complete facility onboarding and documentation according to clinical and regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) placement eligibility.
- Active Alabama state license or eligibility to obtain an active license prior to assignment start.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required by the facility.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Ability to complete facility-required background screenings and onboarding.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment in an SNF population.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and standardized SLP documentation.
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring CFY clinicians preferred.
