What You'll Do: As an integral member of our inpatient rehabilitation team, you will provide specialized occupational therapy services to a diverse patient population. Your work will focus on enhancing patients' independence and quality of life through targeted interventions, under the guidance of our Manager of Inpatient Therapy Services. Your efforts will directly contribute to positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting. Required Skills: Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with a B.S. or M.S. degree Current registration with the State of Michigan as a licensed Occupational Therapist Strong understanding of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary care approaches Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Nice to Have Skills: Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Prior experience working in inpatient or hospital settings Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills Knowledge of current OT technologies and equipment Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care environments is highly advantageous Proven track record of successful patient outcomes in occupational therapy Other Requirements: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan Willingness to work weekdays during standard daytime hours Ability to travel within the facility as needed, with travel and certification reimbursements available when applicable This is your chance to join a dedicated healthcare team and advance your career while impacting lives in a meaningful way.
