Ref #: C-PTA-9122368 Contract/Travel Physical Therapy Assistant Albuquerque, NM Start: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Sun-Sat, 08:00 AM-04:30 PM Rate: Travel: $1,260/35 hrs; Local: $1,239/35 hrs Minimum requirement Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license Core responsibilities Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations: obtain medical history, measure baseline function, and help set goals. Implement prescribed interventions and therapeutic exercise programs to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility. Apply modalities and operate therapeutic equipment safely and according to protocol. Teach and progress home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques to patients and families. Document treatments, patient response, and progress accurately and timely in patient records. Communicate and coordinate with the Physical Therapist and multidisciplinary team about treatment plans and patient status. Follow safety, infection control, and facility policies at all times. Provide patient education, motivation, and emotional support during rehabilitation. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
