Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required.

3 months of Epic experience is required.

AS completion required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

Required Skills/Experience: Must have ventilator experience. Ability to draw arterial blood gases.

Required Credentials: Primary Source Verification of licensure/certification is required for application. Associates or Bachelors degree in respiratory therapy

Special Requests: No block scheduling for travelers at Salem.

Shift & Scheduling: Straight nights. Every other weekend.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

BLS (Basic Life Support)
