Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
  • Enthusiasm to collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Experience working with a diverse student population, including elementary, middle, and high school students (preferred, not required for CFs)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening, assessments, and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings
  • Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to integrate speech-language interventions
  • Offer support and resources to families, empowering them in their childrens progress
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field
