Position Summary

Willis Knighton Health is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-centered Audiologist to join a dynamic outpatient practice. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluations, including hearing, balance, and related assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and best practices
  • Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and assistive listening devices
  • Counsel patients and families with empathy, clarity, and encouragement regarding hearing health and rehabilitation options
  • Deliver vestibular assessment and management services, as applicable
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care
  • Educate patients on hearing conservation, prevention strategies, and ongoing care
  • Stay current with advancements in audiology through continuing education and professional development
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive clinic culture

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure in Audiology (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong clinical knowledge of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient-first mindset with a compassionate and encouraging approach

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in an outpatient or clinical practice setting
  • Familiarity with hearing aid technologies and fitting software
  • Ability to build trust and rapport quickly with diverse patient populations
