Description: Immediate Physical Therapist job opening in outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Brookings, OR.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

In addition, we also have an outpatient rehabilitation physical therapy clinic providing orthopedic, sports medicine, and neurological rehabilitation.

Compensation:

$47.50/hr - $53.84/hr depending on experience and skills.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are offering home health care and hospice in the patient's homes throughout all of Curry County, Oregon. We also provide an outpatient clinic where we deliver occupational, physical and speech therapy.

This position is for a physical therapist experienced with a wide variety of orthopedic, sports, and neurological conditions in outpatient care.

Your responsibilities will include at least:

Evaluates patients referred for outpatient physical therapy services.

Completes initial physical therapy evaluations and develops individualized outpatient plans of care, including treatment goals, interventions, and timelines.

Administers therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, gait training, and functional mobility activities.

Provides education to patients and families regarding exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.

You should have knowledge of:

Outpatient physical therapy treatment techniques and rehabilitation protocols.

Orthopedic, sports medicine, and neurological rehabilitation practices.

Electronic medical records/documentation practices.

You have the ability to:

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Work collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
