Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
• Active Arizona PTA license required, or proof of application with an estimated time of approval acceptable for submission.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to provide therapy services under supervising Physical Therapist in accordance with state regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel PTA experience preferred.
• Experience treating geriatric populations and familiarity with common SNF documentation practices preferred.

Assignment Details

• PT schedule: 5 days per week with a 32-hour weekly guarantee.
• May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
