Key Qualifications & Experience: Master's or doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility as an Audiologist Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Skilled in assessment of hearing disorders, auditory processing, and device fitting Knowledgeable about IEP and 504 processes Primary Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and screenings for students Interpret audiological results and communicate findings to families and educational teams Fit and manage assistive devices, including hearing aids and FM systems Develop and implement individualized support plans in line with federal and state guidelines Consult with teachers and staff on classroom accommodations and communication strategies Document evaluations, recommendations, and student progress accurately Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning Provide training and guidance to school teams regarding hearing health and technology In this role, you'll make a measurable difference in students' lives, enabling access to the curriculum and participation in all aspects of school life.
