The position is Full-Time.

The Rehab Tech supports the efforts of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Physical Therapy Assistants and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants in providing services to patients and facility(s) as directed.

Principal Job Responsibilities

Assists in the transporting of patients for rehab treatment appointments.

Supports Therapists in treatment of patients in walking, positioning, applying splints, wound care, and other prescribed treatments.

Assists in the maintenance and uploading of patient documentation into Health Information Management System.

Maintain proper and timely patient medical files.

Assists Therapists in ordering and maintaining therapy equipment/supplies.

Appropriately orders and manages necessary clerical supplies.

Sanitize and clean rehab equipment daily.

Maintain temperature log of hydrocollator and paraffin bath to keep at a safe level for usage.

Clean hydrocollator and paraffin on a regular basis and maintain calibration on equipment.

Ensure timely correspondence with Employee Support Center, doctor offices, and facility administration by faxing, mailing, or scanning proper documents to the proper departments. Also checking the mailbox, email, and phone messages daily and responding to requests efficiently.

Maintains good working relationship with facility(s) staff/customer(s).

Follows company expectations in regard to HIPAA/Corporate Compliance policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Experience in a healthcare environment preferred

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

Must possess excellent organizational, time management, written and oral communication skills.
