Summary
The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, 1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of 1,350 rooms, 250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest ski beaches in the world.
The Grand Hyatt isprised of 436 luxury amodations including 359 guest rooms, 55 residences and 22 suites with approximately 30,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space, lobby level 3-meal restaurant and bar, signature bar, pool/apres ski bar and grill, coffee bistro, large outdoor event terrace, pool and 3 whirlpools, kids club, and fitness area.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Licensed Lead Massage Therapist to lead and support our team of massage professionals. This rolebines hands-on treatment delivery with leadership responsibilities, including scheduling, training, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is passionate about wellness, has strong leadership qualities, and ismitted to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding massage and body treatments in accordance with spa standards.
Assist the leadership team with scheduling, team coordination, and administrative tasks.
Train and mentor massage therapists in Hyatt's exclusive signature treatments and core service standards.
Conduct regular product knowledge sessions and treatment service training for spa staff.
Ensure all therapists maintain high levels of professionalism, technique, and guest satisfaction.
Support a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Must be a Massage Therapist License - Valid MT license and certifications as required by state regulations.
Minimum of one year of professional experience in esthetics.
Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
Current certification and registration in good standing.
Strongmunication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service skills and a client-centered approach.
Proven experience in a spa or wellness environment; supervisory experience preferred.
Previous experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred.
Proven customer service experience in a spa or wellness environment.
Strong interpersonal andmunication skills.
Proven ability to lead by example and inspire a team.
Detail-oriented with excellentanizational and time management abilities.
Passion for wellness, customer service, and team development.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Must have schedule flexibility to work days, early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
Performs other job duties as required
Experience in training or mentoring other therapists is a strong asset.
Familiarity with Hyatt's spa standards and treatments is a plus (training provided if needed).
