Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Glen, NH at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. The role requires evaluation, development, implementation and modification of individualized treatment plans, delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services, patient and family education, and professional documentation in compliance with regulatory and clinic standards. You will participate in student programs as assigned, pursue professional development, and adhere to safety and competency expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active NH Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required.
- Proficiency with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in an electronic medical record.
- Ability to complete comprehensive patient evaluations and develop measurable, functional treatment plans.
- Adherence to state Practice Act and maintenance of professional licensure and continuing education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or mentoring students in a clinical setting.
- Previous travel therapy or contract experience preferred.
- Experience with safe patient handling programs and materials handling protocols preferred.
