We're seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide expert care in an acute hospital setting. This vital role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, from ICU to progressive care units, helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. Required Skills: Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience in an acute hospital environment Valid Indiana license and BLS certification Proficiency in manual therapy, with certifications/licenses in Lymphedema preferred Experience with Cerner charting system Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop individualized plans of care (POC) utilizing ADL training, therapeutic exercises, and activities Ability to evaluate patient progress and recommend discharge dispositions effectively Nice to Have Skills: Additional certifications in therapy techniques or specializations Experience with cardiac rehab, stroke, TBI, or orthopedic cases Familiarity with hospital protocols related to respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson's disease, and mobility challenges Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program At least 1 year of hands-on experience in an inpatient acute setting Clinical familiarity with ICU to progressive care unit workflows Other Requirements: Availability to work Monday through Friday, plus one weekend day per month Scrub color: Royal Blue; Black shoes required Ability to work 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 16:30 Willingness to adhere to hospital policies, including certifications and any applicable travel or licensure reimbursements Certification in manual therapy and Lymphedema are highly desirable Feel inspired to elevate patient care and advance your career in a supportive environment?
