About CANGD and NEXT Legacy Audiology

The Center for Advancement of NEXTGEN Deaf (CANGD) is a nonprofit organization that equips, educates, and champions individuals who have childhood hearing loss, their families, and the professionals who care for them.

Our clinical program, NEXT Legacy Audiology (NLA), provides comprehensive, family-centered audiologic care designed to support individuals across the lifespan. Our model emphasizes early identification, consistent access to sound, and continuity of care. We walk with children and families as they grow into the NEXT generation of deaf and hard of hearing adults.

Position Summary

NEXT Legacy Audiology is seeking a Pediatric Audiologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing care for individuals who have childhood hearing loss.

The audiologist will work closely with patients and families from early diagnosis through ongoing management, with an emphasis on access, consistency, and real-world outcomes.

Diagnostic assessment of children who have suspected or confirmed hearing loss is recognized as critical to audiologic care planning and is foundational to this position. This role also involves delivery of evidence-based hearing aid fitting and management services in a family-centered framework.
