Position Summary:
PruittHealth is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Therapy Services in the newly created outpatient therapy business across our Senior Living communities. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered therapy services, driving clinical excellence, and supporting compliance and regulatory standards. The position covers leadership responsibilities across multiple states and will require extensive travel to provide on-site leadership, training, and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership to interdisciplinary therapy teams across multiple outpatient therapy clinics located within PruittHealth Senior Living Communities. Monitor and support compliance with federal, state and local regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Collaborate with facility leaders, interdisciplinary teams and all PruittHealth business lines to optimize therapy outcomes and resident satisfaction.
Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, mentor staff, and implement best practices. Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of risk. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of the therapy staff within the region.
Develop and support the implementation of new therapy and wellness programs, technologies, and initiatives.
Travel Requirements:
This position requires frequent travel (up to 75%) across assigned regions to support facilities, attend meetings, and conduct on-site evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctorate or master's degree in physical or occupational therapy from an accredited program. Physical Therapy is preferred.
- Licensure: Active therapy license in the state(s) of practice; multi-state license preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with at least 2 years of leadership, regional management role preferably in outpatient therapy within senior living communities.
