Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Virginia required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment preferred.
  • Ability to follow established individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • New graduates welcome.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in post-acute settings.
  • Experience providing therapeutic interventions for geriatric populations.

  • Shift Hours: 8-hour day shift.

Impacting Patient Care Nationwide

Join as a Travel COTA and support patient recovery in a skilled nursing setting. Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and activities, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care. Document interventions and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to modify plans as necessary.
