Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Alabama PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and follow PT-directed care.
  • Client requirement: may need to float to nearby facilities as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel PTA experience preferred.
  • Experience with restorative nursing programs preferred.

Assignment Details

  • M-F, 1 weekend rotation per month.
  • May be required to float to nearby facilities.
