Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Monument, CO, where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while working in an outpatient clinic. The position involves comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting care, supervising discipline-specific therapy services, and participating in student education and professional development.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Colorado physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
- Experience performing 60-minute evaluations and one-on-one treatment sessions preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising students or serving as a clinical instructor preferred.
- Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and competency programs preferred.
- Experience with safe patient handling and materials handling protocols preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 5x8.

Impacting Patient Care
You will complete comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document care in accordance with regulatory and clinic requirements. You will ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals when applicable. You will participate in student education, pursue professional development, and adhere to the state Practice Act and discipline-specific codes of conduct. You will follow clinic safety programs, including safe patient handling, infectious disease precautions, and workplace hazard reporting.
