Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week (includes day shift orientation) 13-week assignment Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with relevant credentials Recent experience in critical care and NICU settings required Proficient in V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett ventilators Familiarity with EPIC charting system Able to participate in external patient transports Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and administer a variety of respiratory therapies (aerosol, CPT, incentive spirometry, MDI, suctioning, extubation) Manage oxygen, BiPAP-CPAP, and high flow cannula therapies, including alarms Perform pulmonary function screening, fit testing, adult and pediatric EKG, BLS (adult, pediatric, neonatal), and arterial punctures for blood gas analysis Maintain accurate records in healthcare information and medication management systems Uphold quality standards, assist with in-service programs, and collaborate on departmental goals Support both inpatient and outpatient populations, as well as healthcare staff Benefits and Perks: Travel perks including generous tax-advantaged stipends and comprehensive travel assistance for a seamless moving experience Premium compensation packages, healthcare benefits, and 401(k) options Job security you can rely on, plus the chance to build lasting connections in new settings Embrace the opportunity to grow professionally, expand your clinical skills, and explore all that Johnson City has to offer.
