In this position, you'll collaborate closely with occupational therapists and educational teams to help students excel in their daily school activities. Your expertise will help empower children by enhancing their skills and supporting their ability to participate fully in an academic environment. Compensation ranges from $35-$45 per hour, depending on your experience. Key Responsibilities: Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the guidance of licensed OTs Support students in both individual and group sessions, addressing fine motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive strategies Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of goals, sessions, and progress notes Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and staff to integrate therapy into daily routines Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and IEP development as needed Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited COTA program and current certification Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy highly valued Solid understanding of child development and school-related challenges Strong communication and organizational skills Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and school schedules Take advantage of this unique assignment to build your expertise in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy while making a real difference for students.
