Minimum Requirements
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active New Mexico SLP license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing SLP services in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow (MBS) collaboration.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records commonly used in skilled nursing facilities.
- Prior travel or contract SLP experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Meal break: 30 minutes.
- Guaranteed hours: 35 per week.
- Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
