Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed.

12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:Billing, high acuity ICU & PCU, acute disorder, assessment, chronic disorder, functional activities, shoulder replacement, and fracture repair required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Infection prevention preferred.Fall/risk assessment preferred.Experience in managing high acuity ICU/PCU is preferred.

Required Credentials:Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Preferred Credentials:Manual Therapy and Lymphedema certifications/licenses preferred.

Special Requests:Indiana residents are considered local.Local travelers are accepted for allied positions.IU Health will not allow Indiana RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, allied travelers, and ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

Unit Details:Adult and geriatric patient population.Inpatient acute care rehab team of 19 rehab professionals.Expect to see patients across all levels of acuity from ICU to progressive care units with diagnoses including CABG and other cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacements, fracture repairs, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson, and amputation.OT is expected to evaluate, develop, and follow the plan of care, including ADL training, therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities to improve function, daily assessment of discharge disposition recommendations, supervision and guidance of COTAs, multidisciplinary rounds, daily caseload management, and daily documentation.Daily patient load: 7 patients.Productivity standard: 81% billable units.

Shift & Scheduling:Monday-Friday with one weekend day per month throughout the contract.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
