Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Seattle, WA providing home health services where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. You will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and provide patient and family education tailored to home environments.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current State License as a Physical Therapist (WA license required to start assignment).
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an APTAapproved program, or equivalent degree.
  • Proof of current CPR certification.
  • Current drivers license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
  • 1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
  • Ability to perform prolonged standing and walking, and to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, and pushing as required for home visits.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally to patient homes.
  • Must read, write, and speak fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous home care experience.

Impacting Patient Care

You will perform clinical assessments, develop and revise Plans of Care, document progress notes and phone orders, and provide therapeutic interventions for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. You will instruct patients and families in safe transfer techniques and durable medical equipment use, order and adapt rehabilitative equipment for home limitations, and apply infection control and universal precautions.
