Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility in Belen, NM regain or improve daily skills following injury, illness, or disability. This role supports residents through therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment recommendations, and patient and caregiver education while experiencing a new community.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage caseloads in a SNF environment and document per facility and state standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel or contract therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience with adaptive equipment, ADL retraining, and cognitive or restorative programming preferred.

Assignment Details

  • Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
  • Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
  • Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
