Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Kansas physical therapy license or ability to obtain required state licensure prior to assignment start.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience treating outpatient populations including orthopedics, vestibular, and neurological conditions.
  • Experience with caseloads similar to approximately 12 patients per day, including varying visit types (evaluation and direct treatment).
  • Comfort working with patients ages 6 and up.
  • Familiarity with clinic equipment such as free weights, turf, and parallel bars.
  • Ability to work within a team where the clinical manager is an orthopedic resident who provides clinical mentorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous outpatient clinic experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience or training in vestibular rehabilitation and neuro rehabilitation.
  • Orthopedic residency or advanced orthopedics coursework preferred but not required.

  • Typical caseload: about 12 evaluation/treatment patients per day.
  • Patient populations: orthopedics, vestibular, and neuro, ages 6 and older.
  • Clinic is well equipped with free weights, turf, and parallel bars.
  • Strong clinical environment with on-site clinical mentorship from an orthopedic resident.
