Key Qualifications: Must hold a current PTA license in the state Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable Knowledgeable in developing and following treatment plans under the supervision of a physical therapist Strong communication and documentation abilities Collaborative, flexible, and passionate about enhancing student mobility and participation Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students of varying abilities Typical Responsibilities: Assist with the implementation of individualized physical therapy care plans for students Provide direct therapy services, observing and reporting progress Document and maintain accurate records of interventions and student outcomes Collaborate with physical therapists, special education staff, teachers, and families Participate in IEP meetings as needed to support student goals Help adapt activities and environments to ensure accessibility within the school Engage students in age-appropriate exercises and therapeutic activities What to Expect:
