We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and rehabilitation techniques
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes
Follow all facility, state, and federal regulations regarding patient care

Requirements

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively under the direction of a Physical Therapist
Must comply with all facility onboarding and compliance requirements
Must bring state or federally issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
