Requirements: Valid NJDOE Speech Language Specialist Certificate - 3462
Duties: Conduct assessments and ongoing evaluations of students' communication competencies, and plan and deliver treatment programs.
Develop and implement IEPs in conjunction with parents and teachers, and maintain close liaison with the child study team, often serving as case manager.
Act as an educational consultant to teachers and administrators
Keep necessary student records, complete all required reports, and maintain professional competence through ongoing growth activities
Salary: Following the established REA salary guide, ranging from $58,520 to $107,698
