Occupational Therapist Job in Skowhegan, Maine

Ref #: 9131484 Join a team in Skowhegan, ME as an Occupational Therapist starting July 1, 2026. This is a 14-week assignment with a full-week schedule (Sun-Sat). Compensation is $1,820 per week based on 35 hours (Local rate: $52/hour). What we're looking for A valid, active Occupational Therapy state license. Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included). Registry personnel must bring state or federal photo ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times. What you'll be doing Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities and observe their environments to identify limitations and set meaningful goals. Develop individualized treatment plans and use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients improve daily living skills. Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices to increase independence. Teach patients and their families strategies to manage conditions and promote self-care. Monitor and document patient progress regularly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to adjust plans as needed.
