Occupational Therapist Job in Stockton, California

Ref #: 9131799 We're looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a contract role in Stockton, CA starting June 29, 2026. This is a 13-week local assignment with a Monday-Thursday and Sunday schedule (Sun-Thu). Compensation is $64/hour or a local PPW rate of $2,240 for a 35-hour week. What you'll be doing: Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities and evaluate their home or care environments to pinpoint limitations and set meaningful goals. Develop individualized treatment plans and use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients regain or improve daily living skills. Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices. Teach patients and families strategies to increase independence and manage conditions at home. Track and document progress continuously and work closely with a multidisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care. What we need from you: A valid, active Occupational Therapy license for the state. Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).
