Occupational Therapist Job in Newport, Vermont

9131966 We're looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a local contract team in Newport, VT. This is a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, with a Monday-Friday schedule. Compensation is $64/hour (Local) or Local PPW: $2,304 for a 36-hour week. What we need from you A valid, active Occupational Therapy state license. Current CPR and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED). What you'll do Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities, plus their home or work environments, to identify functional limitations and set meaningful goals. Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at improving daily living skills. Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices to boost independence. Teach patients and families strategies for managing conditions and maintaining functional gains. Monitor and document progress consistently and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
