Occupational Therapist Job in Puyallup, Washington

Ref #: 9131952 Location: Puyallup, WA | Start Date: June 1, 2026 | Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Mon-Fri | Compensation: Local PPW $1,855/35 hrs; Local $53/hr We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative care team for a 13-week assignment in Puyallup. The OT will assess and treat patients to improve independence and everyday function, provide education to patients and families, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members. Required qualifications: Active Occupational Therapy state license. Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included). Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and environmental needs to identify limitations and establish goals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance daily living skills. Recommend and instruct patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices. Educate patients and caregivers on condition management, safety, and strategies to maximize independence. Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care.
