• No call requirements
• Floating to other units as needed

Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Texas PT license
• BLS (AHA or ARC) certification
• Minimum 2 years physical therapy experience
• At least 1 year of inpatient rehab experience
• Familiarity with EMR systems, MEDHOST preferred
• Professional attire: any solid color scrubs
• Will not consider recent graduates or LPTAs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement therapy programs for patients in inpatient rehab
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to review and adapt treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on wellness, preventive strategies, and improved mobility
• Document patient progress in EMR systems
• Float between units as required, ensuring quality care continues throughout the hospital
