Job TitlePhysical Therapy Assistant (PTA)LocationAnnapolis, MDSchedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Days | Full-TimeKey Responsibilities* Deliver physical therapy treatments to residents in an independent living and assisted living setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist* Implement individualized treatment plans as established by the supervising Physical Therapist* Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising therapist* Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
* Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maryland* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program* Current CPR/BLS certification* Ability to meet a 30-hour weekly guarantee
Preferred Experience / Skills
* Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting* Experience working within independent living or assisted living environments
