ABOUT THE POSITION
Outpatient clinic looking for an occupational therapist who embodies our values of being a great teammate and asset to our community, beautiful Cody, Wyoming, just 50 miles outside the East gate of Yellowstone National Park.
We are seeking a passionate, patient-centered Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient team. This position focuses heavily on upper extremity rehabilitation, helping patients regain function, independence, and quality of life.
While prior experience in hand therapy is not required, we will give strong preference to candidates with a background or specialized interest in hand and upper extremity care. We are highly open to mentorship and warmly welcome motivated new graduates looking to build a strong foundation in orthopedic outpatient therapy.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate & Treat: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with a wide variety of upper extremity and orthopedic conditions, developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Manual Therapy & Modalities: Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities to advance patient recovery.
Custom Splinting: Fabricate and adjust static custom orthoses/splints as needed for pre- and post-operative care (mentorship available).
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, joint protection, and ergonomic modifications to promote long-term success.
Documentation: Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant electronic documentation tracking patient progress and outcomes.
Collaborative Care: Coordinate closely with physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and local referring physicians to ensure seamless, comprehensive patient care.
Why you should come work for us:
We're a therapist-owned practice, which means we actually get it. We built this clinic from the ground up to be the kind of place we always wanted to workwhere the clinical environment is as supportive for our staff as it is for our patients.
Our culture is our most distinguishing feature. We are a close-knit family, and our patients perceive this and feel a sense of belonging. We believe in providing an "abundance of care" which encompasses not only providing quality care but going the extra mile.
As you walk into our facility, you will immediately notice that our clinic is intentionally designed to promote an open, welcoming, and transparent environment.
Our therapists are among the most qualified in the region, with specialties ranging across the lifespan. With four occupational therapists, four physical therapists, and three physical therapy assistants, we have the staff and experience to provide exceptional care to our patients.
