Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Brooklyn, NY at a skilled nursing facility. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document treatment progress to support patient outcomes. This role provides an opportunity to apply your clinical skills in a skilled nursing setting while experiencing Brooklyn.

Minimum Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active New York state SLP license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with dysphagia management and instrumental assessments such as FEES or MBS interpretation preferred.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and standardized outcome measures preferred.

Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 08:3016:30.
  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week.
