As a travel therapist, youll sharpen your skills in a Level 1 Trauma Center and renowned stroke and chest pain facility. Working in an academic medical environment exposes you to innovative treatment protocols, collaboration with experienced clinical leaders, and best practices that will set your resume apart. The high acuity patient population provides an outstanding platform to grow professionally, whether your focus is adult or NICU/pediatric respiratory care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 18:30 07:00
• Every other weekend rotation
• No on-call requirement
• 75% holiday coverage
• Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience
• Current NC state license, RRT credential
• BLS and ACLS required for Adult RT; BLS, PALS, and NRP needed for NICU/Peds RT
• Strongly preferred: Experience in Level 1 trauma or high-acuity environments
• Proficiency with EPIC and respiratory equipment (Servo U/Air, The Vest, Volara, Aerogen, Heated High Flow, cough assist; HFJV and HFOV for pediatrics is a plus)
• CRT accepted, but RRT preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert respiratory care to diverse patient populations (post-surgical, pneumonia, COPD, asthma, and more)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and lead therapists
• Float to units based on your experience and department needs
